Jesse DeNatale

Northern California Singer Songwriter, Jesse DeNatale is looking forward to his debut appearance at McCabe’s Guitar Shop. When asked about his musical beginnings, he says he was raised on the radio, the songs of the 50’s and 60’s, along with the jazz and Latin records his parents played. He also listened to a Ramblin’ Jack Elliott record over and over. He says his sense of rhythm stems from his Mexican/ Italian roots and that he taught himself how to write and play so that he could sing. The songs he sings are rich with wonder, imagery, intelligence, compassion and hope. He has released four critically acclaimed albums.

His fans include a number of his own heroes, Ramblin’ Jack, Tom Waits, Peter Case, Jonathan Richman, Eliza Gilkyson.
