El Rayo-X was David Lindley’s legendary World-Music band, celebrated for its fearless blending of reggae, cumbia, Middle Eastern, and American Roots into something entirely its own. As David approaches three years gone, the band reunites to honor his life and music with two special performances — July 24 at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica and July 25 at the Ojai Underground. The shows feature an extraordinary gathering of musicians who shared the stage with David: Jorge Calderón, Bernie Larsen, Ray Woodbury, Rock Deadrick, Wally Ingram and Ben Peeler, Come celebrate a singular artist and the music he leaves behind.
