Chris Rorrer is a kind, creative, enthusiastic, and musically gifted teacher that evokes the same in his students. Chris holds a Master of Music from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach. While his master’s studies centered around the cello, Chris has certainly not limited himself to one instrument!
Chris also composes, arranges, and performs in a variety of styles, ranging from classical to rock to experimental. He has released countless albums and his music has been featured on films across the globe. At the end of the day, music is all about relationships and making the world a better place. Chris loves teaching and it is clear to see that he fully engages with each program or student he is working with to provide a holistic music education experience.
Chris makes it his utmost priority to make lessons culturally responsive, fun, and engaging for students. In each lesson he facilitates students’ proper technique on their instrument, ensuring a lifetime of effortless and injury-free playing.

Performance highlights include playing several concerts with the Broadway singer Kristin Chenoweth, playing on the red carpet for the 71st- 74th Academy Awards, performing with the Los Robles Master Chorale, and performing in the garden of Disney Concert Hall.

Jessica Sandidge is originally from Santa Monica, CA, and got her music degrees at UC Santa Cruz and New England Conservatory. She then lived in New York City where she performed as an opera singer and taught voice and piano lessons for 15 years. She has taught at such schools as Avenues World School in New York City, Wellesley High school in Massachusetts, and is currently teaching piano, violin, and voice in the Los Angeles area. She began her musical journey playing the violin from 4-10th grade, then moved onto the harp, ultimately finding her voice in college on the stage as an opera singer. She works with kids and adults of any age teaching piano, voice, and beginning violin. She is also an accomplished opera singer, having sung at Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, among others.

21 years of international touring with Mantovani including extensive tours throughout Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and the US.
Toured Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi with the Mesto Orchestra of Los Angeles.
Has taught throughout his performing career, and believes in the positive reinforcement method.
