JODI SIEGEL
Born in Chicago, home of the blues, Jodi has opened for such legends as Albert King, Robben Ford, JD Souther, Fred Tackett/Paul Barrere of Little Feat, David Lindley, Robert Cray and many more. Her songs have been covered by blues artists like Maria Muldaur, Marcia Ball, Teresa James and more.. During her career, Jodi has created a heady and dynamic stew of musical influences (blues, pop, R & B, soul and jazz) into a sound and a style that makes her a triple threat; songwriting, singing and guitar playing. Jodi’s fine-tuned solo performances are likened to a “one-woman” band! Her truly original style can fill a room with explosive slide guitar, bluesy vocals with subtle jazz influences and a fun, easy going rapport with her audience. She can go from funky bluesy grooves to folk,jazz, rock, blues and back again with ease. She’s an old soul with a fresh sound.
JEFF SILBAR
Kentucky native Jeff Silbar is a Grammy winning songwriter with cuts from artists such as Ringo Starr, Bette Midler, Johnny Lang, Wynona, Reba McEntire , John Mellencamp, Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton, Jimmy Hall and many more. He is perhaps best known for the song “Wind Beneath My Wings” from the film Beaches. To this date “Wind” has received 7 ASCAP pop awards, including a Song of the Century award, and was recognized as one of the American Film Institute’s 100 Greatest Movie Songs. Many of Silbar’s songs have been featured in film and television. His many television and movie credits include the opening theme to the hit NBC show, ‘My Name is Earl.’
Jeff is also a fantastic performer! He’s a great guitar player and piano player with a growly southern vocal charm that can rock with the best and then turn around in an instant and break your heart with insightful lyrics and melodies.
