So, here's where we get a chance to show off some of the stuff we have (or have had) that we think is pretty cool.
Some of these items might even be for sale, if you hurry. Give us a call (310-828-4497) to find out more, or, just to say hi.
Taylor Grand Symphony Presentation Model
We may have mentioned that we're celebrating our 50th anniversary. Well, we're not alone. Taylor is among a handful of fine guitar makers who have created astoundingly beautiful instruments especially for us. This stunning Grand Symphony features figured Cocobolo back and sides and master grade Engelmann spruce top. The neck has an amazing "Tree Of Life" inlay and a custom engraved 50th anniversary truss-rod cover. Gorgeous abalone borders the top, back, and sides. Click on the image at right to get a better look, or, better yet, come in and play it. The sound will amaze you. List price is $7498.00, but of course, like almost every instrument we sell, there's a little wiggle room. Better hurry, though.
Goodall Concert Jumbo Custom
Hawaii's Goodall Guitars joins the celebration with this mindblowing Concert Jumbo featuring "Private Reserve" koa back and sides (click image for close-ups). The top of this instrument is master grade Italian spruce bordered in Paua. The binding is curly maple, and the custom 50th Anniversary fretboard inlay was created just for us by Larry Robinson. This is an amazing sounding instrument, and it can be yours for $9889.00, give or take.
Froggy Bottom Model M DeLuxe
Here's another guitar from our 50th Anniversary Collection, and this one's off the hook. It features rare old growth quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and hand-cut Adirondack spruce top. The rosette and backstripe are made of Paua, and the binding is flame maple. A special, commemorative 50th anniversary label is signed and dated, and there is a custom "West Coast Sunset" ivory heelcap adorning this magnificent instrument. Sounds pretty good, too. Lists for only $11,610.00. Click on the image for a better look, or come in and try it out, before it's too late.
Vintage Martin "3K" Style Ukulele
Here's one of the nicest old ukes we've seen (and we've seen quite a few). Made in the late '20s or early '30s, it's a beautiful "3K" style that plays great and sounds wonderful. All koa wood, naturally, with an ebony fingerboard and porcelain binding, front and back. Comes with the original soft case as well. Click on the image at right to see a mind-blowing montage of intense close-ups and extreme angles. We've priced this item at a tempting $4950.00, so, act accordingly.
Eichelbaum Grand Auditorium
David Eichelbaum has been building custom guitars in Santa Barbara, California since 1990, and this one's a beauty. Special grade Ziricote back and sides, master-grade European spruce top with Brazilian rosette. A one-piece mahogany neck with two-way adjustable truss rod and carbon fibre stiffening rods, and fully compensated bone nut and saddle. Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, too. This guitar also came with a custom Calton deluxe case, and if you click on the photo, you can see some close-up images.

Vintage Martin Baritone Ukulele
Must be old Martin ukulele month, or something. This fine baritone uke dates from the late '60s or early '70s, and includes its original chipboard case (not pictured). Sounds and plays great. Beautiful purfling, too. Sold, by the way.
1960s Martin "O" Style Ukulele
Here's something you don't see every day, at least not with the original price tag still on it. Another music store went out of business recently, and found this amongst their remaining stock, unsold. That's right, it's brand new, even though it's 40 years old, give or take. Of course, the price has gone up some, but it's still warranted to the original owner which could very well be you! (Oops. Too late.)
